Why are hundreds of people protesting against 'Operation Breaking Dawn'?

On Friday (8/5/2022) and early Saturday, a number of lawmakers from Meretz and the Joint List party criticized Israel's decision to launch the operation. Why?

At a protest in Haifa, Ayman Odeh, chairman of the Joint List, said, “A round [of fighting] brings another round, more killing and more resistance. The circle of horror needs to stop. We came out to protest together for the only way that will benefit both nations – real negotiations to end the occupation, founding a Palestinian state alongside Israel and a just peace.”

I have always had the same thoughts as him, but it's important to know that this rule doesn't apply equally to all cases.

I would like to ask everyone who criticizes and protests against 'Operation Breaking Dawn'? What would you do if a terrorist attacks you and your family? Don’t you call police or fight against them?

If the ultimate goal of this terrorist is not to destroy your life, your thoughts may be right. But the terrorists that are happening in Israel right now are not these kinds of terrorists. They are not “good” terrorists.

They keep shouting “From the River to the Sea”. Don’t you know what they mean? Their goal is to completely destroy Israel and take over all the land. Even if you want peace, they don't want peace with Israel. Even if you don't want terror, they will create terror for you until Israel is completely destroyed. Even if you don't want to attack, they will attack you until Israel is completely destroyed. Even if you want to get along with the Palestinians(terrorists), they do not want to get along with you.

Don’t you know BDS movement? Even though you say “peace”, they do not care what you say. They will continue to participate in Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. They will continue to say “apartheid” against Israel. They will try to harm Israel until it is completely destroyed. It has already been proven in Israeli history.



In 1993, the Rabin government and the Palestinian Liberation Organization signed an agreement that included the initiation of an autonomous government plan for the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and Israel's withdrawal from those areas. Yitzhak Rabin was then shot and assassinated in 1995 by a Jewish far-right young man "Igal Amir".

Rabin signed for peace then, but is there peace between Israel and Palestine? Since then, there has been no peace in Israel, but rather greater terrorism, murders and various riots until now. This is a fact that you always experience in your daily life.

It is understandable that different parties may have different policies for getting votes. Having different policies to get votes is a dangerous idea in the national interest. I think it is desirable to establish a policy that is in line with the national interest.
